Hi All, this hack totally work, took me alot of attepts but worked in the end. I think the trick is to leave pressing the "repeat" for about 5 seconds once you turn it on. The numbers will not appear on screen but once you have entered the code a number 4 (this is my region) will appear in yellow, then you press 9 and open and close, turn off and BANG it is region free. Samsung DVD-E317 1. turn on 2. open tray 3. wait 5 seconds, push any number button 4. tray will close automatically. (Normal) 5. wait 5secs push the repeat button (Bottom RIGHT) 6. enter numbers 76884 7. yellow box will appear with current region change to 9 8. open tray and then close tray. (region display will disappear) 9. turn off then turn on ***Region change complete*** Full proof method | |||
